The Unmistakable Advantages of Wooden Crates and Wooden Boxes
The world is literally awash with plastics, which are not easy to recycle, accumulate in landfills and are not good for our health at all. That's why so many households are trying to get rid of unnecessary plastics. Various plastic boxes, which are just as fragile and not at all suitable for storing things, are slowly but surely being replaced by wooden crates and chests. And that's for several reasons.
Natural wood has a beautiful decor in itself, and it also smells pleasant. No toxic substances or microplastics are released from it into the stored fruit and vegetables. Unlike airtight plastic boxes, they allow natural air circulation, thus preventing unnecessary rotting and sprouting of stored food.
Wooden crates and boxes have many uses
You don't have to use wooden crates just for storing food. They are also great for children's rooms for storing toys, books and seasonal clothes.
