Sun magnet 6 cm

The wooden sun magnet is made of solid beech. Beech is a hard Central European wood with a fine grain and a light shade that stands up to everyday wear in the kitchen or a child's room. It is a popular material for toys and kitchen accessories thanks to its strength and the smooth surface it gives once worked. The magnet is made in the AMADEA sheltered workshop in the Czech Republic.

Yes, the magnet holds ordinary papers, notes, children's drawings and photos. The magnet is built into a 6 cm diameter wooden base and holds firmly on a fridge, metal doors or a magnetic board. For a thicker bundle of sheets, we recommend spreading your notes across several magnets — the little sun gets some company and your fridge turns into a small gallery.

The sun is one of the oldest symbols of light, warmth, life and optimism. In folk tradition it represents joy, vitality and a new beginning — which is why the sun motif often appears in children's rooms, kitchens and generally in spaces where the family spends time together. The sun magnet is a small way to keep this symbol in sight every day.

The sun magnet is a popular small gift for children and grandchildren and often ends up on the kitchen fridge or on a magnetic board in a child's room. For the youngest children, we recommend adult supervision — with a diameter of 6 cm and the magnet itself, it is not suitable for toddlers. For older children, it is a practical, natural-looking decoration for their own space.

Simply wipe the wooden magnet occasionally with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not put it in the dishwasher, soak it in water or use harsh cleaning products — the solid beech and the coloured finish could be damaged. Ideally, do not place the magnet on a constant source of heat or in direct sunlight either, so the wood does not warp over time.

The 6 cm sun magnet comes in a single colour version and cannot be personalised. If you are looking for a wooden gift with a name or your own design, take a look at the separate AMADEA personalised gifts section — there you will find products designed for engraving text, a name or a date.

The sun magnet is in stock and we usually dispatch it within a few working days. Orders over 2 000 Kč and up to 5 kg qualify for free delivery within the Czech Republic. You can see the specific delivery date right on the product page above the add-to-basket button — it updates according to the carrier you choose and current dispatch workload.
