Comfortable cultivation without back pain
Classic beds are low, so every planting and weeding means bending the back — difficult for older people, sometimes impossible. A raised bed solves this: plants grow at 60-80 cm height, you work with them at comfortable height like at a kitchen counter.
Besides comfort, raised beds have other advantages: better yields (controlled soil, better drainage, fewer pests), longer growing season (soil warms faster in spring), less weed, designer look. For every gardener — from young to seniors.
What wood we use
For raised beds we use pressure-impregnated wood (spruce, pine) — moisture-, rot-, mould-resistant. Life 10-15 years with normal use. Some models combined with geotextile inner liner. Also available in natural cedar wood (no impregnation, eco premium).
Sizes for various garden types
Small beds (60×100 cm): for a small garden, balcony or terrace. Medium (80×150 cm): standard family bed, room for 4-6 vegetables. Large (100×200 cm): for serious cultivation, year-round supply. Modular sets: for complex garden compositions.
Beginner tip: Start with one medium bed (80×150 cm). Enough for 4-6 vegetables — herbs, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, radishes. After a year of experience add more.
