A board that serves more than it cuts
In the kitchen a board is a working tool — functional. At a grill the board has a double role: cutting the meat after grilling and immediately as a serving surface to the table. The meat is served with the scent of wood, traditionally part of grilling culture (from pyramids through ancient Greece to today).
Our range includes boards in various forms: large cutting boards (40-60 cm, for whole pieces of meat), charcuterie boards (60-80 cm, long with grooves for cheeses, prosciutto), serving boards with juice groove (steak), smaller boards (25-35 cm, for smaller dishes, cheeses).
What wood we use
For grilling boards we use solid beech (classic, economical), solid acacia (premium — extremely hard, cut-resistant, beautiful grain) and solid olive (luxury — antibacterial properties, beautiful veining). Surface sanded and finished with food-grade oil (linseed, no chemicals).
Which board for what
Beech: economical, good for regular use. Acacia: for demanding users and frequent grilling. Olive: for aesthetics — luxury serving board for prosciutto, cheeses. We personalise — engrave family name.
Tip: A large serving board (60×40 cm) from olive with engraved "BBQ — Smith family" — a beautiful and exceptional gift for grilling fans.
