Large Wooden Decorations
Large-format wooden decorations from 40 to 170 cm — trees, angels, mandalas and wall pieces that work as the main visual element of a room, not as an accessory.
Every piece is cut from solid wood and finished by hand in a sheltered workshop in the Krkonoše foothills. We treat the surface with oil or hard wax, so the natural grain stays visible — and no two pieces look exactly alike. Larger decorations ship flat; the tree attaches to its base with the enclosed screw in a couple of minutes.
Before you choose: exact dimensions and weight are listed with every product. Pieces over a metre weigh 6 to 15 kg and need a stable spot — keep that in mind when choosing both the place and the delivery method.

How to choose a large wooden decoration
Large decorations differ from ordinary accessories in that they set the character of the whole room. It pays to start from the spot they are meant for and choose size and motif accordingly.
By size
Over 130 cm — maxi trees of 150 to 170 cm stand freely on the floor and replace a tall shelf or a large picture. At 12 to 15 kg they stand firm, but once placed they are rarely moved.
100 to 130 cm — trees on a base that fit beside a sofa, in a living-room corner or at a reception desk. They ship flat and assemble with a single screw.
75 to 100 cm — angels, mandalas and smaller trees for a sideboard, windowsill or coffee table. The size most often chosen as a gift.
40 to 75 cm — wall decorations, mandalas and leaves. They work alone or in pairs above a bed, a sofa or in a hallway.
By use
Trees with owls, birds and squirrels and the mandalas stay in the interior all year — they are not tied to any holiday. Trees with baubles and the angels are Christmas pieces; after the season they can be taken apart and stored flat, as they are cut from one piece of wood with no fragile parts.
Wood is a living material. Grain, shade and small knots differ on every piece, and the photograph shows one particular example, not an exact copy. That is exactly what makes each decoration an original.
What wood are the decorations made from?
Most often solid beech, which has a pronounced grain and enough strength for large formats. Smaller decorations and trees with figures are made of alder, nativity and natural pieces of spruce. Details such as owls or birds are alder with the bark left on; on some pieces we add poplar plywood.
Can the decoration stay outdoors on a terrace or in a garden?
No. These decorations are made for indoor use. The oil or hard-wax finish protects against normal wear and air humidity, but not against rain and frost. Permanent exposure to the weather will warp the wood and crack the finish.
How do I care for a wooden decoration?
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth, never a wet one. Avoid cleaners containing alcohol and abrasive sponges. Do not place the piece directly next to a radiator or in all-day direct sun — both dry the wood out and change its shade.
Will the decoration look exactly like the photograph?
The shape and dimensions yes, the grain no. Each piece is cut from a different board, so it differs in shade, growth rings and small knots. On hand-painted details such as birds or hearts the colour may vary slightly. Dimensions may differ by a few centimetres.
How are large and heavy pieces shipped?
Decorations over a metre are packed in a sturdy carton with padding and sent by courier. The flat-pack design allows safe packing and lowers the risk of damage. For the heaviest pieces over 12 kg the shipping is quoted individually — write to us and we will calculate it in advance.
Can I order a different size or finish?
For part of the range, yes. We produce in our own sheltered workshop, so we can adjust the size, the stain shade or the colour of the details. Tell us what you need and we will come back with options and a lead time.
