Standing wooden angel with wings and motivational text, solid wood, 18 x 15 cm

The angel's body is made from solid alder and the wings from poplar plywood. Alder is a medium-hard deciduous wood with a fine texture and a warm, slightly pinkish tone. The surface is left natural — no coating, stain or varnish — so it keeps the natural grain of the growth rings and gradually develops a patina. A Czech product from the AMADEA sheltered workshop in the Krkonoše foothills.

The angel carries six motivational sentences: “Přijmi to, co je. Nech plavat to, co bylo. Netrap se tím, co nejde změnit. Věř v tu nejlepší budoucnost. Měj radost z každého dne. A každý den si užívej naplno.” (Accept what is. Let go of what was. Don't torment yourself over what can't be changed. Believe in the best possible future. Find joy in every day. And enjoy each day to the full.) The text is laser-burned into the wood, so it will not fade or flake and will remain legible for decades. The whole message guides the reader from acceptance through faith to active joy.

The angel stands on its own thanks to its shaped bottom — it needs no base, holder or wall support. The bottom edge is cut straight so that the centre of gravity is spread across the full width of the skirt. Place it on a shelf, windowsill, bedside table or chest of drawers. We recommend a stable, flat surface; on a soft rug or a sloping tablecloth it may tilt slightly.

It suits anyone going through a difficult period — after an illness, a loss or a life change — and also makes a lovely word of encouragement for a birthday or Christmas. According to reviews, customers often buy it for older people, friends and colleagues retiring. It also works as a lasting reminder in a surgery, office or bedroom. The neutral natural wood suits both modern and country-style interiors.

This particular piece is sold only with the fixed set of six sentences. If you want your own text — a name, a quote, a date — order the same angel without an inscription and write the desired text in the order note. The AMADEA workshop can burn individual designs as part of the „Gifts with your design" section.

Yes, you will find AMADEA products in six bricks-and-mortar shops — four in Prague (Melantrichova 6, Zlatá ulička 23 at Prague Castle, Železná 10, Mostecká 40/26 by Charles Bridge) and two in Český Krumlov (Latrán 1, Široká 78). We recommend checking availability of a specific piece by phone in advance, as the range differs between branches.

Add the angel to your basket, fill in the delivery address and choose a payment method. You can pay online by card (Comgate), by bank transfer or cash on delivery directly to the courier — with no need to pay in advance. If ordering through the e-shop causes any difficulties, call +420 604 636 475 (Mon–Fri 8:00–14:00) and our colleagues will guide you through the whole order by phone. Delivery via Zásilkovna or by courier takes up to 3 working days.

Simply wipe it occasionally with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not place it in direct sunlight (it would fade), above a radiator (it could crack) or in the bathroom (moisture damages wood). A stable temperature and normal room humidity are ideal for the wooden angel with motivational text. With basic care it will last for decades without any loss in the quality of the wood or legibility of the burned inscription.
