A board that serves more than it slices
In the kitchen, a chopping board is a functional working tool. When grilling, a board plays a dual role: for slicing the meat after grilling and immediately afterwards as a serving surface straight on the table. The meat is served with the aroma of wood, which has traditionally been part of grilling culture (from the pyramids through ancient Greece to the present day).
In our range, you will find boards in various designs: large carving boards (40-60 cm, for a whole piece of meat), charcuterie boards (60-80 cm, long with grooves for cheeses and prosciutto), serving boards with a juice groove (steak boards), and smaller boards (25-35 cm, for smaller dishes and cheeses).
What wood we use for our grilling boards
For our grilling boards, we use solid beech (classic, economical), solid acacia (premium — extremely hard, resistant to cutting, beautiful structure), and solid olive (luxury — antibacterial properties, beautiful grain). The surface is sanded and finished with food-grade oil (linseed, chemical-free).
Which board for what purpose
Beech: economical, good for everyday use. Acacia: for more demanding users and frequent grilling (extreme durability). Olive: for aesthetics — a luxury serving board, for vine, prosciutto and cheeses. All are equally safe and hygienic. We offer personalisation — we can engrave the family name for a family board.
Tip: A large olive wood serving board (60×40 cm) with the engraved inscription "BBQ — Novák Family" is a beautiful and unique gift for grilling enthusiasts.
