Connected with nature
Trends are signalling a return to the natural style of living. Modern materials are being replaced by a material proven over the years – wood. Not only because wood suits every interior, but because of its easy biodegradability and the fact that it does not burden the environment.
Wood is a very specific material. It's beautiful when it's new, but after years of use, it acquires a unique patina, making each piece of wood an original. If you like indoor flowers, you're probably tired of polished plastic flower pots, where the flowers' roots rot because the moisture and impermeability of the plastic promote the formation of mould and the growth of fungi. If you're wondering what to replace such flower pots with and you don't like ceramic flower pots made of fired clay, try wooden flower pots and troughs.
Water won't damage wood
You don't have to worry about water leaking when watering flowers in a wooden flower pot. Even if you don't place a plastic flower pot or trough inside them. Wooden troughs and flower pots are equipped with a black liner inside that does not let water through because it is made of coextruded polyethylene. It is very strong, so you don't have to worry about damaging it, and you will save money by not having to buy a plastic container that usually needs to be inserted into ordinary wooden troughs.
Natural material
A flower looks natural in a wooden planter. Wood, soil and flowers belong together. Wooden flower pots and planters are not only suitable for old-fashioned sitting rooms in cottages and homes in the Provence style. Wooden flower pots will also be an original decoration for a modernly furnished flat in the Scandinavian style. It is up to you whether you choose a classic wood decor in a colour that matches the furniture, or alternatively, you buy wooden flower pots that are stained or painted, and the wooden flower pot will be a striking decorative element.
